John Minor joined Dewey Property Advisors in January of 2011.
John’s background in investment real estate and finance makes him a valuable member of the DPA team. His focus will be on the acquisition and disposition of commercial buildings, multi-family and land for investment and development. While at Spake Real Estate and Sperry Van Ness Minor focused on Multi-Family Investment property and the hospitality market.
Before working in commercial real estate, John spent seven years in the financial world as a private wealth manager with qualified investors in a fund of funds investment strategy. It was in this role where John developed an appreciation and respect for numbers, thereby influencing John’s gravitation towards investment properties. John’s initial business experience after receiving his college degree was spent in the hotel industry. He managed a Homewood Suites in Tacoma Washington and coordinated the franchise sales efforts at Red Roof Inns in Columbus Ohio. These experiences acquainted him with the financial numbers behind managing properties which has served him well when analyzing investment properties for both Buyers and Sellers.
